This video was created as a final project for a Motion Graphics course. The requirement was 1 minute of animation demonstrating the use of time, motion, and communication.
This project is a lyric video for the song "Graves" by the band Hooded Fang. Their style of music is grungy, surf punk, and the sound was illustrated by rugged, hand-drawn type and ironically bad illustrations. Colors and timing all coordinate with sound and lyrics. It's fast pace music, but slow words. You can see in the video, in a few parts, flashing, zooming, and more is used to give the appearance of a dragging word.
